Hi there,

Im currently trying to simulate the effect of waves inside a domain with an object at the bottom (sea bed). The equations used are in the attachment but i get this error message about the units. A screen shot has been provided. Pls can you advice me what im doing wrong??

Thanks
Chirath

The first thing You are doing wrong is providing screenshot instead of text. Have you tried viewing it?
Type the expression You fail to create and also all the related expressions. I'll try to check the dimensions.

HI there,

Sorry about that..i hope this txt file which contains the data would be useful to you in assisting me.

Thanks

The error is obvious - your units are not correct. You will have to work the units through your equations to sort it out.

Do not specify units twice, that's the reason of your problem. For example,
if H = 3 [m] and a = H/2 then CEL should be:
H = 3.0 [m]
a = H/2 {no dimension}
Your CEL is:
a = H/2 [m] means "H is divided by 2 AND by its dimension", that way "a" becomes dimensionless.
The same goes for the rest expressions.

Thanks both, really appreciate your help. Will try it out and see...
