some problems about particle track

Hi,
I am doing a simulation about particle separation in a flow channel. When the solution is done, the CFD-POST was used to show the streamline and particle track.
So the problems comes, the streamline travel in the flow channel without any disturb while the particle track disappeared in the 1/5 of the flow channel.
I want to use CFD-POST show the particle separation in the flow channel, so the particle track should be into the inlet and out of the outlet without any break off.
Is there any better way to solve this problem?
I need your help,help!!!

Are you sure the particle tracks do in fact go out the outlet?

Please post an image of what you are getting and what you expect to get.

yes,I am sure that the particle should go out the outlet,but it stopped on the halfway.
And I don't know how to upload image to forum,so what I do is just explain it to you.

The image was showed in the website above.The left side was the outlet and the red line was the particle track result for particles.I want those particles go out of the outlet but they stopped as the image showed.

Please post images directly into the forum in future. Many computers cannot open links on web pages like baidu.com.

The first thing to do is to convince yourself that the particle tracks actually go to the exit. Have a look at your output file and see what the particle fates are.

The check the rendering options on CFD-Post. I do not do much particle tracking stuff so cannot tell you exactly which options to look at, but see if it is down sampling the tracks or doing some other simplification option.

Thanks for your reply.
I exported the results which reflects the particle velocity VS its geometry coordinate. By checking these datas, I find the particle stopped at the same position.
So do you have any ideas about the reason of the problem and its solution?

So it looks like the particle tracks do no go to the exit - the quote says what to do next....

Oh, there's one error when I edit the cfd-post after the solution was done.Are there any links between this error and my problem?

Possibly. It means you have not defined a location parameter in one of the objects in CFD-Post.

No, the problem is post processing. Something in CFD-Post is wrong.
