I build a particle tracing simulation with a user defined particle momentum sorce that related to temperature. What surprises me is that after convergence(criteria is E-4) for a while,an error occurred without any prompting message.I don't know why, please help me ,very appreciate.

+--------------------------------------------------------------------+
An error has occurred in cfx5solve:

The ANSYS CFX solver could not be started, or exited with return
code 255: . No results file has been created.
+--------------------------------------------------------------------+

End of solution stage.

+--------------------------------------------------------------------+
The following user files have been saved in the directory
D:\WS\T\T_001:

PT1.trk, mon
+--------------------------------------------------------------------+

This run of the ANSYS CFX Solver has finished.

I cant post the picture ,here is the link of it

I would simplify your simulation one step at a time to find the source of the crash. It is likely to be your user particle source or some other complex model you are using. Replace them by simple models one at a time until the crash does not occur.

Thanks a million for your prompt reply, and Its really a good way to find the error source. While that's seems a big work load, I would try.
PS:In addition, when crash occur,a popup dialog prompt the solver-pcmpi.exe stop working. And location of the solver-pcmpi.exe is \ANSYS Inc\v140\CFX\bin\winnt\double,but I didn't select the double precition ,what does this mean?
