Hi,
I am working on a two-three immiscible flow simulation in a microchannel, i.e., oil and water (half and half), when i using multiphase flow in CFX-12, how could I select the fluid pair, and fluid model?

I run some cases, but in the CFX-post, it seems two different velocity fields based on the two fluid are in the same shape (only the values are different), the interface did not have any influence on the fluid flow field. The two fluids' velocity supposed to be the same in the interface and thus change the channel fluid field.

Any suggestions?

thanks

Have a look at the tutorial examples. Free surface flow over a bump will show you how to set this type of problem up.

Thanks for your replying, when I use a inlet velocity boundary condition, there is no much problems. However, when I use pressure boundary condition in the inlet, the two fluid messed up, mix together very quick! any one have similar experience, thanks!

You have to specify the fluid level somehow. If you do nothing it will assume the fluids are evenly mixed across the inlet. The example shows how to specify the fluid level.
