Non-Uniform Flux

Dear CFX user,

Do anyone know, how to give non-uniform boundary conditions (say heat flux) in a plane surface of a 3D objects? in ANSYS CFX

My heat flux value is not uniform, so i want to give this value like this. Maximum at the center and minimum at the edges (NORMAL DISTRIBUTION).

Can ANYONE give idea for my problem.

This is easily done with a CEL expression. This can be an analytical function or a 1D/3D interpolation function.

Hai Ghorrocks,

Very recently i got this error dispalyed; Do you have any idea regarding this.

ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction. |

IT IS SOLID FLUID PROBLEM. please let me what is error?

The problem is probably associated with a complicated GGI linking the solid and fluid domains. Check your interface mesh is well resolved and of good quality.

Thanks Ghorrocks,
I will change the interface mesh
