Visualise CFX res files

Dear all,

I have performed a long time ago transient calculations in CFX. (I have res, trn files).

I want to visualise the results but I dont have CFX-post.

I have tried the trial versions of tecplot and enSight, but both dont support direct import of these formats. (In tecplot, the data sould be saved as cngs format from CFX, unfort. I didnt do that)

Are there any freely available post-process tolls that I could use for CFX output files (res, trn)?

Thanks in advance,

I think from CFX Solver Manager you can export various formats and I don't think it needs a license.

Can something for visualization purposes be downloaded , of course free of charge?

The CFX res file is a proprietry format which is not public domain. I don't know of any open source stuff which will open it. I bet if you asked you local support office they would do it for you. Even get a student version of the software from them and then I think you will have access to it.
