Does anyone know which variable in CFX corresponds to intermittancy (gamma) which varies from 0 to 1, 0 being laminar flow and 1 being fully turbulent?

Thanks

"Turbulence Intermittency" is the variable. It's only applicable when using the Turbulent Transition Model, which is only applicable for boundary layer transition (not bulk flow transition).

I thought so too, but that specific variable varies from 0 to 2 as far as I know intermittancy should vary from 0 to 1. What would a value greater than 1 mean, there is nothing in the documentation about that.

Thanks

Yes, that does seem strange. I'm not sure why it goes to 2.
