Default Degree of freedom in free surface simulation ?

Hi,

After having simulated a boat using a free surface without motions, I would like to make it free to move (3 DOF).

How can the degrees of freedom be incorporated in CFX ? Does anyone have a tutorial or a file that I could use as a starting point ?

This can be done in CFX V12 using some beta features - talk to CFX support to get some demo files of how to do ti. This can be done in V13 as a release feature.

I recommend you try the preview of CFX V13 as the 6DOF solver is much improved in V13.
