bladegen tool for compressor modelling?

hi all
i am working on cfd analysis of the compressor. i am using bladegen tool for making the geometry of an existing compressor. Am i in the right direction? i mean me using bladegen is a right step? Is there any other tool/software for geometry creation of compressor?

Bladegen works fine.

thanks.
here i am actually working on a compressor part of a turbo. So i am taking " Vista centrifugal compressor design" in bladegen. In this after giving the "geometry" data, if i change the "Duty and aerodynamic" data the model changes.
How to make the model constant for various duty and other conditions?

I have never used Bladegen so have no idea. But I guess starting with the tutorials would be useful
