Hello,
if I perform my 2-Way-FSI (Isīnt a FSI-Sim. always 2-Way?) and the residual target is reached during the stagger loops, MFX allways allowes just one Fluid-Iteration. However, I set min. Iterations to 5. Just one is to less for good convergence, so how can I change this? Vinzent |

No, FSI simulations are not always 2 way.
Set your residual target lower. |

Thank you very much,
I guess, FSI means the interaction between a fluid and a structure. The fluid motion influences the motion of the structure an inversely. In the 1-way-case there is no interaction, but just a reaction of either the fluid or the structure. What do you think about this? Vinzent |

I think if you need to model both field, fluid and structure, that's fluid-structure interaction. And that's the way the rest of the world understands the term. All 1-way FSI means is that the two kinds of physics are not strongly coupled, meaning you can solve them sequentially, first one and then the other, instead of having to solve both simultaneously.
