Hello everyone,
This is my first time using translational periodicity in CFX. The problem is a duct and a paddle-wheel rotating inside it. My final goal is to simulate the TRN effects of the paddle-wheel by using sliding mesh for the interface between the paddle-wheel. Also, I want to use periodic BC (translational type) at two side wall (not the inlet and outlet). The simulation does not work whenever the translational Periodicity is chosen for the side walls. I tried different cases, and I found that it works with symmetry. Can anyone tell me how to set up the "Trans. Periodicity"? 1.jpg 2.jpg |

There seems to be nothing wrong with applying translational periodicity to this geometry.
What error message does it report? |
