Help me please
I have an open channel problem.
1-How can I Get Charts of water surface in CFD-POST (ansys cfx) at at some particular distance x ?
for example:
(x=0.1m,water surface=0.09m),...
2-change in discharge should be exchange to velocity in the inlet boundry?
for exampel:
Q=0.1m^3/s----A=0.011m^2---i.e---v=8.77m/s

To get water height at a specific location: Draw a vertical line from in the water to the air, the full height of the domain. Then do a CEL expression lineInt(water.vf)@Line Object. This will give you the length of the line exposed to water.

To get the full water surface: Generate an isosurface of vf=0.5. File/Export and use the isosurface as the location.
