Hi
I am trying to simulate the marangoni convection using standard free surface, thermal energy, Laminar, electromagnetic models in multiphase model (2 fluids which have buoyancy as well).
I apply the surface tension coefficient as a function of temperature but can not see any effect of it.
I also used a constant value for surface tension coefficient but it seems that the surface tension effects are not calculated at all.
Any advice on how to model the subject or if any tutorial is available?

I have used CFX to do many surface tension models. It works fine. I have never done marangoni models, but see no reason why that would not work either.

Sounds like you should do some basic work with surface tension (ie getting a droplet to go spherical) and get that working before you add electromagnetics and marangoni effects.

Thanks for the reply. Please also comment on if I select the "Surface Tension Force" to "None" or to "Continuum Surface Force".
When I select "None", I get quick convergence but no surface tension effects.

That's right, because you just turned off the surface tension model.
