Dear friends,
Hi! I am Nishant and I am new to this website as well as ANSYS. I have tried out about 10-12 models in Ansys structural, and I was very proud I could accomplish meshing and solutions. Now I am trying Ansys CFX module. The thing is, I am designing an ultralight aircraft wing of specification NACA 4415. Can anybody explain me how to analyse this wing profile in ansys to obtain lift and drag? I need all the basic instructions right from material property settings to element type selections. Also, how do I setup the flow of air in ansys? If it is not possible in ansys, which other software might I be able to use? Lastly, can anybody suggest me any ebook on ansys/cfx that i may be able to obtain easily? I really hope somebody can be of help here. Thanking you for your time, Nishant. |

CFX can do the model you are talking about. CFX comes with an extensive range of tutorials, and even more area available on the CFX-Community webpage (on www.ansys.com). That is the place to start.
