Parametric Study - Multiple Configurations in ANSYS CFX
Hi,
I am currently trying to perform some conjugated heat transfer simulations for a device. I would like to know what is the easiest way to conduct a parametric study for different geometrical values / dimensions, for e.g. length, diameter, wall thickness of the device. Now I have about 100 sets of configurations/geometries and I need to know what is the heat transfer characteristics for each of them. At the moment, whenever I change a configuration, I have to reload the new geometry file, re-mesh, re-set-up the CFX model, and re-run the solver (like setting up a fresh case). As the device is a little complicated, I do not want to re-mesh and re-set-up each time - it takes a lot of my time. :( I know I can use "Parameter Set" feature in WB to conduct parametric study for different boundary conditions & flow conditions - can I use it for different geometries/dimensions? Please help and enlighten me!! Thanksss! :) |
