Hi, can anyone tell me how to plot and calculate the pressure coefficient around a body in CFX-post so that in every defined location the Cp plot will be created? Thanks

Write a CEL expression for Cp, then create a new variable with your expression. Your variable can be plotted as any other variable.

Hello,

I also want to plot Cp along a Line. Thus I have written the following equation:

(Pressure-(Pressure@Inlet))/(0.5*Density@Inlet*Velocity@Inlet^2)

But i get this odd error Message:
"...The following unrecognised names were referenced: Density, Pressure, Velocity."

Altough I got these Names from the "right-click-insert-menu"
Anybody knows where the problem is?

Thanks!

Have a look in the CFX documentation, in the reference guide, for CEL expressions. This will give you the variable names. You have simply not used the correct variable names.

Hi camoesas
Could you please tell me if you were able to get the above CEL expression to work. I am facing the same problem. Your help will be very much appreciated.

The errors camoesas made are trivial - look in the documentation and you will work it out. For instance he should replace "Density@Inlet" with massFlowAve(Density)@Inlet, and other simple changes.
