Hi All,

Quick and hopefully pretty simple question.

I am simulating a model where I want two different fluids (Air and Fuel) to flow through seperate pipes and then join, where one pipe meets the other. I understand from the Ansys help this is a Multiphase problem and so have set it up in the ways described within the tutorials.

The problem I am having is that when postprocessing I want to look at how the flows mix together, but when plotting their individual streamlines it seems that when the two flows meet, they do not interact with each other and that no streamlines ever overlap. I have tried many different combinations of fluids, some of which have been the same material, but I cannot get the streamlines to cross over and interact with one another.

Is there anyway in which I can fix this problem? Or is there another method of doing this?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Steve

Yes It is a fluid fuel I am using, however I tried using a gas instead and the same problem occurs.

Thanks
