Hi

I am working on project related to ESP(electrostatic precipitators). I want to solve corona effect in ESP by using CFX. For that I am developing code(I use fortran) for this corona effect. I want to know that how can I incorporate this code with CFX. If any one solved this type of problem then guide me. Or any suggestion please….

Hi Trushar,

Would you mind describing your model in mathematical terms? It is easy to add simple new models to ANSYS CFX via the ADDITIONAL VARIABLE hook..

Do you want to solve the electrostatic potential? Like in

div (permivitivity * grad (ElecPot) ) = 0

with Dirichlet or Neumann boundary conditions?

For this, you do not even need User Fortran...

Opaque..
