CFX on different number of CPUs

We recently installed CFX 13.0 on our 64-bit PC (Windows XP). We can get it to run on 4 CPUs but if we try to run it on 1 or 3 CPUs an error of not being able to allocate enough memory is given.
We can run CFX 11.0 on 1 and 3 CPUs on this machine.
Not sure what's going on with version 13.0.

There's an unofficial, unsupported fix (exe file) to CFX v13 that you can get by contacting ANSYS tech support.
I had an issue with v13 and memory allocation, in that it only allocates half the amount of memory for reals or integers even though it was okay in v12.1. I cannot remember the full details but it's something like that. In the end I cannot run my large meshes unless I double my physical memory.
So until we get either v13.1 or an offical fix I'm staying with v12.1.
