Eddy Break Up vs Eddy Dissiaption Model

Hi,

what's the difference between Eddy-Break-Up model and Eddy-Dissipation model? Is it nearly the same?

The concept is the same: both set the combustion proportional to the ratio of k to eps. This ratio tells how fast mixing on microscale is. The assumption behind both models is, that combustion occurs when fuel, oxidiser and products are mixed on microscale.

Guess exact formulation is a bit different. In practise you can get the same results as both models depend on the tuning constant quite much. This constant has to be adjusted in anyway.
