Hi everyone,
I want to put a opposing jet for a blunt body which runs in supersonic flow in CFX. When ever I try to run for different speed for example free stream 2Mach and opposing jet 5Mach it keeps crashing for steady case. Any help would be appreciate. Thank you very much for your time. |

It can be tricky to get convergence with supersonic flows. Try using local timescale factor to start convergence off before switching back to physical time scale to finish the run to convergence.
Also try the expert parameter which does two loops of the mass/pressure equation per coefficient loop to make conservation tighter, that can also help. |
