pls does anybody know how to define anisotropic property of copper in CFX R13.0???

I am not sure how to define anisotropic properties of solids. I already tried to do something like that but I couldn't.

I believe that you have to do a multi-coupled run with Ansys mechanical in order to define the anisotropic properties (at the mechanical)...

Let's see if anybody else has done it on CFX... because I am interested too...

in terms of thermal conductivity, anisotropy is possible (hidden beta feature). there was a post about it in here somewhere

[edit] found it, and it happened to be your own post, so i'm guessing you're looking for something other than conductivity
anyway: anisotropic material in CFX R13.0

yes I found the solution just after posting this thread
so via command line in CFX Launcher it is possible to change solid properties...
more on my thread anisotropic material in CFX R13.0
