[CFD-Post] Help showing wingtip vortex

2 Attachment(s)
Hi,

I want to plot the wingtip from a transonic, low incidence CFX simulation. But I don't know what the best way to do this is in CFD-Post (v13).

Currently, I've put in some contour plots of the pressure coefficient at different downstream planes (see image). Which is okay but it's not perfect because we're having to see data "through" other data.

Likewise, I'm finding that putting streamlines (see image) around the wingtip is also not a clear way of showing the vortex.

So, next I tried the Vortex Core Region option (I tried all the options: absolute helicity etc) but none would show me the wingtip vortex.

Please, what is the best way to show the wingtip vortex in CFD-Post?

Thanks

Try Q-Crit: I think its imlemented in Post, else you have to calculate it with an expression
