thanks again. but I guess I should clarify my problem.
I have a CFX result which includes both fluid domain result and solid domain result, and I can export only the solid result part to Ansys Multifield file (say file is named as solid_temp.cdb file) in CFX solver. I found that this solid_temp.cdb basically has everything (mesh, temperature etc) to do a thermal stress analysis. I already figured out a way to conduct a stress analysis with this cdb file in Ansys by manipulating the file and writing an Ansys script, but I am interested to know, how to DIRECTLY use this file in Ansys-workbench to do a stress analysis? I tried to find a way in workbench, but it always looks to me that I have to build CAD, then mesh, then setup in workbench so that I can do a structural analysis. But in my situation, I don't want to build a CAD/mesh etc, I just want to utilize solid mesh/temperature results from CFX and use them directly in workbench to generate a stress result. Can I do that? Where should I look for related information in Help?
thanks a lot
