I have a question about the different turbulence modellings used to simulate the mixing of hot and cold flows in a T-Junction.
I simulated this using turbulence model of SST (steady state) and compare the velocity with the existing LES results of the same conditions in different sections of the downstream. My task is to find the reason of discrepancies in the results of these two models. Could you please help me on this? |

Any decent turbulence modelling textbook should cover the expected differences. "Turbulence modelling for CFD" by Wilcox is the reference I use, but there are others.
