Timescale in Steady-state
I got several steay-state simulation results.
Each simulation has totally same geometry and condisions, but the results are different. The only difference is "Iteration number" in solver. Flow velocity and Heat flux are not different. But Temperature map(conduction : fluid->soild domain) is different as iteration number increases. So I guess the results depend on time.. It was steady-state so I'm confused. Is the Iteration number related to time?? |

Definitely. you must look at your RMS values as criteria for your stop, or even if the RMS are not less than 10-5 you can have( define for yourself) some local criteria about the convergence of your desired results and parameters. you may gain good info in the help manual of the software. I'm thinking also mesh density can have some mutual effects with timestep... good luck |
