Kq = dP/dx * 1/u^2 [kg/m^4]
This is the formula for Quadratic Resistanc Coefficient
Can any one explain each term in this formula

dP/dx is the pressure change (loss) in the direction of flow. u is the velocity. That's about all there is to it.

How to calculate dP/dx?My analysis work is to find the pressure drop in the Catalytic converter

Either from experimental data or you can assume it to be some known flow (maybe a pipe flow, or flat plate) and assume the catalytic converter pressure drop can be approximated by it.
