Hi to all,
am doing coal combustion simulation in CFX.am using discrete transfer radiation model with 16 no of rays to track.

1.after convergence i checked my results and i get lower combustion chamber exit temperature and higher heat absorption rate at combustion chamber walls.
2.my coal is high ash coal(47.2%).what my feel is this much ash particles in combustion chamber will reduce the radiation (or) scatters the radiation and results will be higher exit temperature and lower heat absorption rate at walls.

Is this right? how can i get the good results in this? please advice on this.

thanks in advance.
