Dear All,
I have a simple question. How to make transient inlet profile in CFX? the format of data likes this;(I attached my profile file) 0 <=t <=5sec : 15m/s 5.< t <= 10 sec : 16 m/s 10sec < t <=15 sec : 17 m/s . . . I did make csv file then impose profile on inlet surface in CFX In cfx, there is interpolation option so when I look at inlet velocity with time, the velocity is automatically interpolation with before velocity. How to put this transient velocity profile on inlet surface without interpolation with before velocity? I think CEL may be useful but not clear for me. thank you for any comments on this problem Best Regards |

You should use a 1D interpolation function, not a 3D one for a simple application like this.
