I had an error while running a .def file in CFX on a cluster. I don’t have any prior experience in setting up the run on a cluster. Attached to this post is an image of the error encountered.
Could some one please look into it and suggest upon overcoming this problem

Usually this means the cluster had a glitch, some packets were lost and the run crashed. Check why the network had a glitch.

Thanks for the reply Glenn, Could you please tell me the command used to start the CFX run in a Partition Mode with User Specified Direction

I was searching for this in the help manual but couldn`t find the command related to User Specified Direction , however I could find it with other in built partitioning algorithms like : Optimized Recursive Coordinate Bisection , Directional Recursive Coordinate Bisection

This is from the output of "cfx5solve -help", guess it is also in the manual.

change directory:
-chdir <directory>
Set the working directory as specified.

partition mode:
-part <number of partitions>
Run the ANSYS CFX Solver in partitioning mode. This option should not
be used if an existing partition file is also specified.
