Hi, guys,
I am doing trasient simulation of a rotating blade. I want to monitor pressure at some location of the blade outlet, the location is statonary in the absolute coordinate and do not rotate during the simulation. As I know, CFX will assign a vertex according to the specificed monitor location, and the vertex will rotate during the simulatioin. That is not the way I want to monitor. Is there any solution? Thanks! |

If you are done with the simulation and working in post, define the vertex in post. and extract its value for all time steps. When you do it in such a way it won't rotate in post.

I want to perform FFT analysis, so I cant save all the trasient results on my harddisk. It is too large! Is there any way to extract the vertex value during the CFX solving process? |

I tried "probe(Pressure)@" expression, however, the probe location must be a monitor point or source point according to CFX manual, which will rotate during the simlation.
Also, I tried to define "export results" in CFX pre, but only a surface can be exported, not a point! Would you please tell me more specificly how to define the point? Thank you! |
