A piston movement simulation

Hi everybody,
I want to simulate a moving piston with a harmonic motion to pump the air.
In fact the FSI is not my case at all. All I wanna do is to simulate the resulting flow emerging from the piston harmonic movement as realistically as possible.
Is it possible to do such a simulation in CFX? and How should I set the BCs?

The ball valve tutorial in the CFX doc is a good place to start. This tutorial uses the 6-DOF solver to set the motion of a boundary. In your case you don't need to do that, instead you need to write a CEL expression for the motion and use this to set the motion of the piston boundary.

If the piston motion is known then simply do a moving mesh simulation. No need to do FSI or 6DOF.
