Hello, everyone

I met a problem when I using the cfx to calculate a 3-D cascade flow conjugate heat transfer problem.

when I only consider the convection and condution, the cfx-solver can work and I can get a result. But when I add the radition, the cfx-solver can not work. The radiation model I used is the Discret transfer model, the spectral model is weigthed sum of gray gases.

The cfx-solver stopped and the .out is as blew:

Radiation Coarsening Information

Domain Name: Coolant Domain

Target coarsening rate = 64
Number of fine grid elements =2473259
Number of radiation elements = 44048
Actual coarsening rate = 56

Domain Name:Hot Gas Domain

Target coarsening rate = 64
Number of fine grid elements =5905449
Number of radiation elements = 114592
Actual coarsening rate = 51

ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction.
Message:
Stopped in routine SU_SURF_TRI_3

Does anybody know where the problem is and what I should do to get a result.
I hope I can get help here and Thanks a lot.

I would try different coarsening rates. Just a guess, but easy to try.

You can try:
1. Make sure you are not using an old version of CFX
2. If you have a thin surface, split the two sides to appear in separate boundary conditions.
