2D in fluent versus 2D in CFX

Hi everybody,
I want to know that does the method we use in CFX for a 2D in FLUENT?
I have solved a 2D model in CFX but it gives me floating point error in FLUENT....

As you may know, in CFX we just generate a mesh with two nodes in depth, and this will be our 2 D model....I know that FLUENT is able for 2D simulation...i just want to know that does the same model with 2 nodes-in-depth work in FLUENT or not...

if not, what do you think might be the cause of error in my case?

If you import a CFX pseudo-2D mesh (ie 1 element thick) you will have to use a 3D mesh in Fluent. It is no longer a 2D mesh.
