Seems pretty obvious to me. You need more memory, or run it distributed parallel to share the load over several machines. Otherwise remesh with a smaller mesh.

hi
smaller mesh means?
do you mean number of elements and number of nodes ?
my current elements are 256413
nodes 449588

hi
please find the error

I would like to explain my problem

fluid is flowing in a multilayer porous medium which has different porosity and different permeability.

I have created multiple layer and created domain. i did interface fluid porous, porous porous, porous porous and so on .

the layer has 2micro meter , 10 micrometer, 200 micro meter and so on

Please help me where did i made mistake?

thank you

Rather than specifying this as different sub domains with different permiabilities it might be better to define the porosity and permeability as a function of location and use a single sub domain with variable porosity and permeability.

hi
do you mean in the designmodeler , I have to create two solids, one fluid region part and other is porous region part.In cfx pre I have to specify different porocity and different permeabilty in a different layers( region) of the porous part . Am I correct?

Hi

How to split the single zone into multiple layers in cfx pre, for applying different porosity and different permeability

Thanks

Define your porosity and permeability as a CEL function, either an expression or an interpolation function. Have a look at the tutorials for how to do this. The free surface flow over a bump tutorial shows how to do this when they set up the inlet boundary condition.
