Hi all.

im trying to modelate a porous diffusor. Does anyone have any idea which parameters should i modify in order to reach a pressure drop through the porous media?

thanks

"Domain type" in Domain to "Porous Domain"

Go to "Porosity Settings"

Decide whether you want a directional or isotropic pressure loss and edit loss coefficient.

yes, that is what i mean, how does the resistance loss coefficient affect exactly as the fluisd goes through the porous media?? i read the documentation but it,s not very well explained.
which magnitude does exactly this coefficient express???

thanks a lot

Have a look at the catalytic converter tutorial example. That should answer your questions.
