I have heard that you can run a number of simulations at the same time in Ansys 13.0

I am having to run simulations at a range of air speeds and I just wondered if it was possible to link it up to an excel spreadsheet with the range on it and get it to produce multiple results files?

Thanks

This can be done using Workbench.

But I prefer to generate the CFX files and run them using a batch script (or a shell script).

How do you do either of those things? I am trying to find the option for it in workbench but I can't. What is the easiest method of doing it?

Thanks

Setting up multiple runs under Workbench is explained in the WB tutorials. If you do not have these look in the ANSYS Customer portal under tutorials for them.

An explanation of running CFX from the command line is in the documentation under "Running CFX from the command line".

I'm really struggling to find it in the WB tutorials. Any pointers as to what section it might be under because I can't find anything that looks relevant in the table of contents

Thanks
