Antanas is on a distinguished road
Hello!

I need to simulate flow with chemical reaction like A(s) + B(g) = C(g) + D(g). All A, B, C and D is pure substances. So I create reaction where I should specify reactants and products. In CFX help it is said that they are specified in terms of parent and child materials and parent is the phase and child is components (i.e. A, B, C, D in my case as I understand). Well as parent material represents phase, I select A and variable composition mixture which contains B, C, D as parent materials. But I can't select A as a child material. There is no way to do so although in help it is said "If a participating phase is a pure substance, it should be selected as both a parent and child material".

Can anybody help me? Maybe I don't understand something?
