Hi,

I am trying to work on the Oscillating Plate Tutorial of CFX, I followed all directions properly given in the manual.

But while runnnig solution, the following error occurs:

That is just the output from cfx, post the output from Ansys as well (ANSYS.stdout)

Dear Lance

Thanks for reply.

Actually ANSYS output window was totally blank. In output control I have mentioned calculation of structure first and then CFX, I believe the error is due to ANSYS calculations and not CFX.

When I tried to compute only structure (No multifield), I got this error:
An error occurred while starting the ANSYS solver module. Please refer to the Troubleshooting section in the ANSYS Workbench Manual Project.

Well, if you cannot run a normal structure analysis then you wont be able to run a FSI case either. It sounds like it is more related to your Ansys installation.

Yes it may be. Can it be due to lack of computational memory? My computers are not specially assembled for CFD, they are not very high end ones.
