I am trying to simulate the deposition of sediments in a channel using the algebraic slip model in cfx (transient simulation). In this context, I need to compute the flux of sediments in several cross sections. For this purpose, I am using, for several planes, expressions similar to massFlowInt(sediments.Mass Fraction)@Plane 2. My question is related to the fact that I have for certain timesteps negative fluxes. The direction of the flow in my example is contrary to the global coordinate system of cfx but for most timesteps of my calculation these fluxes are positive (when I use the above expression). So, my question is:what´s the meaning of these negative fluxes? Is this a bug?

I cannot answer your question, but I will point out that CFX does not have sediment deposition models in it so I cannot see how you are going to model what you are trying to model with CFX.
