Setting Both Pressure and Flow at Inlet

Dear All,

Does anybody know how to set both flow and pressure as inlet boundary condition.

Kind regards,

Sounds like you would be over-constraining the problem, why would you want to do this?

If you have one inlet and one outlet you could set the pressure at your inlet, and set the mass flow at your outlet; due to conservation of mass you would then have the same flow at your inlet. Therefore you would have set the mass flow and pressure at your inlet.

It is impossible. It is over constraining the boundary and cannot be done. But for a steady state flow the flow in equals the flow out, so you might be able to put a pressure boundary at the inlet and a flow boundary at the outlet.
