How to plot the wave contour in ship flow (free surface) problem

Hi, I have some problems to display my results in wave contour on the ship flow (free surface). I have already used isosurface method but beside that, I want to know wave contour based on z/Lpp. Please give me some tips to make it. thank you

I've got same problem...hope some masters could give solutions...:)

What is z/Lpp? I wish people would not use jargon.

You should be able to change the scale in the details of the isosurface to suit z/Lpp. But I don't know does that solve your problem. Can you explain what you are trying to achieve in laymens terms?

Ok,, I will explain it.....z= wave heigth and Lpp= ship length...so I want to plot the wave contour based on z/Lpp value....please give me good answer...thanks

This is straight forward - define a variable of z/(ship length) assuming gravity is in the -z direction. Then you can plot this variable on your isosurface of the water surface or any other plot you care to do.

you can make intersection spline between wave and ship hull, then plot it in the curve presented in post processor tools
