Improvements in Coal Combustion Model

Hi

I´ve been seeing much development in gasification area, but the CFX model for Hydrocarbon fuel does compute the CO formation (it assumes all CO turns into CO2), but this is not true in a sub-stoichiometric environment.

Are there any plans for Ansys to improve this model? Can we suggest it for them?

In therms of biomass fuels, this is becoming increasingly important.

No ANSYS employees post on the forum to my knowledge so I do not think you will get an answer here. You will have to contact your local ANSYS support.

I always recommend making feature requests. It gives ANSYS a direction the customers want. But don't hold your breath, most feature requests do not get implemented.
