Good Day Everyone,

I just seek clarification on domains and their interfaces. I'm working on a CHT in CFX, and I've found that when you have solids of differing materials, you must set up separate domains, and have solid-solid interfaces between them.

For my specific question,
Think of a stacked column of different materials with air flowing around the column. Do I need to set up a separate interface for each fluid solid pair or can I just pair the entire solid column (of differing materials and domains) as one fluid-solid interface?

Any discussion on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You can create a single fluid solid interface.
