Multiple Selecting of faces for a BC?/ An idiots guide to enGrid?

HELP!
I am entirely new to engrid and can't figure out something that is probably obvious and simple to do. How do I multiple select a few faces to assign them to the same boundary condition.

DOing the click "p" and the "s" method only lets me do one at a time..

What am I missing?

Answering my own question, If I click one at a time, and apply it to the same boundary code, does that achieve what I think it does???

Greetings James,

Unfortunately enGrid (at least up to 1.4) doesn't allow selecting more than one surface at a time, for assigning a boundary code to it. But the following tricks can be used:
  • As you've indicated, you can assign the same code for several surfaces, although it has to be one by one.
  • Use the feature detection mechanism, which should work as long as there are clear feature edges.
  • Use Blender to prepare the surface geometry, then use the enGrid export script for Blender.
Have a look into all of the tutorials: https://github.com/enGits/engrid/wiki/Tutorials - check the ones for the previous versions of enGrid as well, since those have not yet been updated for the latest version.

Best regards,
Bruno
