velocity profile in floworks

hi,

i am running an external flow analysis for a flat plate and would like to set the velocity profile as the power law equation, which describes the mean wind profile of the atmoshperic boundary layer.

Is that using the dependency button? If so, is it only typing up the equation? How can I make it dependent of the height z (height measured from the bottom of my computational domain)?

Thanks.

In a dependency forumlation you can only use known parameters, either from the flow or from the geometry.
So if you want to use a height, try to create it in SolidWorks (as a sketch or even as a coordinate system.

In my idea you can generate a formula with using Excel for velocity profile depends on height then you can use this formula with dependecy type
If you want to use table option it takes long time to fill in(no export option as txt or excel file)
