What is best 3D Modeling program to make geometries?

Hello ya'll,

I have a question for experienced Flow-3Ders. What is your favorite 3D modeling software to make geometries? The datasets I am generally dealing with are .dwg CAD files with topography and other structures. I know there are many ways to turn these drawings into .stl solids, but some are definitely more friendly than others! What have people found works best way? AutoCAD Civil3D? Gambit? SolidWorks?

In my view, AutoCad is the best and easiest one. But before exporting the .stl format, do the followings:

DISPSILH=1
ISOLINES=0
FACETRES=10

Solidworks seems pretty good, too.
