Flow-3d collision modelling

HI ,
I would like to know if anyone has experience with collision modeling using GMO in FLow-3d.
I am modeling a test ,which involves a spherical ice model ,being released from the bottom of tank(filled with water),ice model moves solely due to its buoyancy and strikes the plate on the top of the tank.
I m using flow 3-d collision model for this test.
The top plate is stationary. while for ice model i am using coupled motion option.
But the results seems to be incorrect after first collision i see a lot of damping ,the velocity suddenly drops to nearly zero after first collision.
Does anyone know if flow3d can simulate such model or what could be done in this case??

Thanks
Subodh

Hi
Please send the STL files and the prepin file.

I will try it!
