Sloshing tank meshing

Hi everyone,

I am working on a sloshing tank problem and I have trouble in finding a good compromise between mesh resolution and time used for the simulation. Flow3D advice to have a uniform mesh near the free-surface but it costs a lot of time. My question : since Flow3D use an accurate advection method (Split-Lagrangian), what would be a reasonable cell size compared to the size of the waves (10cm of amplitude) ? Any documentation advice would also be appreciated.

Thanks for your help.
