about scour around structures
 

Hi all,

I am simulating the scour around structure, however, it seems that there is any scour hole around structure and the scour rate is also not practical. Did someone met these problems? I appreciate your any suggestion.

hi Zhao there are two important parameters the grid size which may reach to 1cm and the erosion parameter in range of 0.05 Shokry

Hi Shokry,

Thanks for your suggestion. You mean that the max. of grid size may reach 1cm in all domain or around structures. I can set up the erosion parameter to 0.05, right? Do both the grid size and erosion parameter have significant influence of scour hole's forming? Thanks
